the one thing we did right is the day we started to fight keep your eyes on the prize and hold on, Ive been Drowning in black history trying to collect images for my time line, the funny part is how much we have been deprived of our history to the point we can barely face the horrors,but thats not what bothers me, really the part that bothers me is how we cover it up, thousands of unsolved murders but no one cares smh not even to go back and solve them, its sad we have abandoned the thought of justice or answers smh another thing I find funny is how most of these people that committed these crimes are still alive, the same people the hung people for fun. they are still here and we are expected to think they some how cured themselves of their craving to kill? smh its alot to take in. Our history is deep so deep I think my BLack history timeline will be over 100 feel long smh I call myself using art to show you what Ive learned from slavery to Peonage and the incarceration generation, and I have to say it is a pattern that cannot be shaken. we have been blessed with Great people before us that actually came up with answers to help us understand how to be better as people but it seems history has left it out so its not in us to want better. by better I dont mean what you own or how much your worth most of the time they have the saddest life but how you are helping improve our relations?. the focus is lost Im not sure if we will ever find it but with the timeline I will spark some motivation to be better people to each other. no one has to kill us anymore we have been trained to do it to ourselves smh we ignore the reality of, you are what you watch and we are all trying to be killers, are the baddest rudest person or the block smh we have to remember ourselves as people, humans living on this earth. I know people will say you can say all this til your blue in the face nothing will change but it can, we can improve our image and change the way we view each other. life has a way of bringing you back to where you started and keeps repeating its self, and it looks like no one is learning from the things in the past, the bible is real and it has stories that we keep re-living in our own way, its time to read the bible but also educate yourself on your history, some older ones say to me I dont need education on it I lived it! but you must be the ones to make sure YOUR story is being told correctly, Im shocked there is not more footage on the internet about slavery but then again Im not. we have to make sure we know it, just so we can eventually get back to finishing our civil right movement, and uncovering hidden killers from the 40s on up in all these cities, lack of justification makes us weak and leaves our ancestors wondering what they died for because we have been deprived of knowledge purposely, its our job to go back and get answers. Im preaching to myself because I know no one cares like I do I am doing my own morning and healing, also nor does most have the tolerance to watch such gruesome stuff but thats why God will use me as a filter, Ill break it down with my art! I am proud to say I am re-writing history with my art, this will be my greatest work ever, I wont stop til I tell it all, all the way present day! stay tuned.
