the partys over my friends. its time to call it a day...........and what a day it was. i watched some spectacular bowls. we left here about 0840 qnd got home about 1815. long day, but very satisfying. geoffrey and rick won their section of the northern pairs event. out of 3 games, they won 2 and drew 1, which gave them the best record of the 4 teams and got them through to the next round in 2 weeks. great job guys. the next comp is knock out, so as soon as they lose a game, theyre done. my fingers are crossed for them. they sure played well today, so they just need to keep it up. tomorrow, gordon has asked me to do the bar for RSL bowls. i like doing that. itll only be for an hour or so around noon. its not very strenuous because most of them drink tea, but there are always a few sodas and beers. the weather today was delightful. it was sunny but there was quite a breeze at times. the laundry dried nicely. i think its supposed to stay quite good all week. i forgot my hat today, so i got a bit of sun on my nose. i must remember to wear my hat at practice on tuesday. i know christmas is right around the corner, but i dont want santa to mistake me for rudolph..........they have way too much work to do ! lol. stay safe and play nice. xxx
