the trip to road Atlanta was busy and full of excitement. in the trans am race we qualified and raced 3rd. we need only start the final race at Daytona and run half the laps to lock in to 2nd place and rookie of the year. it was our best race of the season on several levels. not the least of which was that we ran the first three quarters of the race before a caution flag and I didnt get worn down like earlier in the season. I really felt like I might have finished 2nd instead of 3rd in the last race in September except for a couple of cheap mistakes I made because I had gotten tired. The race car is in the body shop for repairs and we leave for Daytona next Tuesday. So its a short spell between road trips
