the year is 2016. 4 months ago, the singer bono went missing. now, no one knows of his whereabouts. he is presumed dead. but actually, hes recused himself from the public eye, and has opened a fruit stand in rural connecticut. it is called the apple man fruit stand. youve stopped by to buy some apples; it is autumn. you do not recognize him in his flannel shirt, folksy hat, no sunglasses, and woodsy beard. nobody does. he greets you with an enthusiastic hello hello as you browse. hola, you respond. you begin to fill your bag with one, two, three, fourteen apples. the paper boy stops by to spread some news. he tosses the paper at you. the headline reads New U2 Album a Disgrace - WHERE IS BONO? the fruit stand man starts sweating. why is he sweating? why is he digging a hole and burying the newspaper? you start to feel nervous. you drop your apples, and leave. bono looks at the apples on the ground. he picks one up. he tosses it in the air, catches it, and takes a bite. he looks at the apple. he gasps as a familiar silhouette confronts him. he begins to weep. am i... the apple man??!?!! or the other type of apple man??!?!?! who is the real me????? an onlooker looks on
