themindvoyager Old civilizations that present day people look back too as wise and all knowing and whatever, well, without belittling past civilizations, if they were so advanced, why write on stone tablets and not with a touch screen computer? Why no aeroplanes or cars? Why no evidence of mobile phones? Why a zillion things we have now that they probably wished they had then. If I sat around looking at the stars all day after the hunt I would make patterns out of the sky too. I would write a rule book with a man made god also. The ultimate lack of knowledge they could not understand is that 10% of each mammal is gay. Sheep for example have long term gay relationships. Its very natural within nature, not an ignorance within human nature of which religion has slowed down the process of treating gay people as equals. All it requires present day is for people to spend 10 minutes and research a few things. Its called compassion, honesty, desire for progress, education. Bravo Cyprus, progress made with this one! The irony is, an argument for the good of religion is that it offers a moral guide. What moral guide is that when it teaches to reject gay people without an ounce of understanding of nature and the human brain? GO TO CHURCH AND MOSQUE CASUALLY, TICK THE BOX OF YOUR FAITH IN SURVEYS, BUT YOU CONFORM IGNORANTLY, TOO AFRAID TO PROGRESS IN FEAR OF RIDICULE, BUT LOVE TO CLAIM THAT YOU ARE INDIVIDUAL AND FREE! :)
