there are two problems with israel since the beginning of the state and even more now and in recent decades. its a money pit. costs too much to run the place, fuel, resources, time, work, and of course potable water and for irrigation. so it became a place where people washed their hands of taking responsibility for it. there has to be a presence there in that area. egypt would be much better but the ottomans still have control of that area. all the nations on the asian continent want a responsible nation state. so israel is fine where it is. its there for the magnesium rich dead sea; and surrounding resources too. ¶idk what is going on there, none of us here are in on any of the conversation going on with the leadership there. but its obvious an issue about funding and where to get the money to run the place. after all its a goddam desert. costs a lot of money to make it bloom. we should not be so stingy about controlling israel and let all the other countries in that area in on whats going on with the policies of israel and what its doing there as far as just sitting there and keeping tabs on the oil and mineral resource; namley magnesium that is detrimental for metallurgy. its all the stupid politics that mess things up. laissez faire is the answer. and also better ways of keeping isreal within a reasonable supply line for its existence.... its doesnt need to bloom, it needs to operated like an army barracks. efficiently. like a MASH unit
