there is a fascinating discussion on our profl listserv about whether meal replacement shakes are appropriate for helping to *jump start* weight loss. I think.. it totally depends. I wouldnt automatically dismiss them just because its not a heap of greens. if thats the path you want to try, choose a high *quality* product & then see whether it works for you. Its very hard to keep up long term so youll still have to figure out what else to EAT and how MUCH at some point. Have you used a meal replacer and if so, would you recommend it?
