there is a song Ive heard where I believe that the lyrics go, lay down your burdens, lay down your pain, come as you are. and what the song is talking about is coming to God as you are and giving over your lifes struggles and hardships to Him. for so long we tend to struggle by ourselves with our troubles. we fight and wrestle with them, but we refuse to come to God with them. we try to handle it on our own, and it just never seems to stop. and it drags us down. and sometimes I think we even feel that God has better things to do than have to deal with our problems. we may even feel like we are unworthy of His help. the thing is that we are worthy. God loves us. and He wants us to come to Him. He wants us to bring our struggles to Him. He doesnt want us to be in pain. He certainly doesnt want us to suffer in any way. He wants us to let Him in, so that He can take our burdens from us and bring healing unto us. He wants us to be free of the chains of darkness that are holding us down, so that we can be at peace, and be happy. all we have to do is come to Him. He wont turn us away. He will pick us up and carry us. He will heal us, and He will remain with us. for we are His beloved children, and nothing means more to Him than us. in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen. Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved-Psalm 55:22(ESV) 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.-Matthew 11:28-29(ESV)
