YES... this person wasnt an UNBELIEVER... they boasted (to shut me up) that they knew the Word, that their Grand-dad was a preacher... that they were RAISED in the Church since BIRTH... yet, when i pointed out the sin nature of the lifestyle... which BTW went far deeper than discussed, (wont speak of it all) WAY deeper than just living with someone... he rejected me last night on the messages that began over he and i discussing one of his Facebook friends... it morphed into sin, and i thought there was an OPENING to share the Word concerning what was going on in his life... we CAN do this as Christians with other Christians... i came to him in a humble way... a peaceful way... i was told that he knew the Word... and that is was about LOVE not sin... so i had to show him VIA THE WORD that is truly was about stopping our sin nature... When Jesus saved the woman about to be stoned to death, Jesus asked them, who here is without sin, cast the first stone... and then said to her: GO AND SIN NO MORE... right??? why did Jesus say that to her?? why not just say: go and love if it was about love over sin??? that was his entire argument... that its not about sin, its about love... that allowed him to sin and sin and sin... its a lie... we ALL sin... but... a Christian (real Christian) wont sin the same sin over and over and over... we are to REPENT... Luke 13:3-5 (KJV) 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. REPENT means to CHANGE... change of pattern... change of heart... change of lifestyle... change from the sinful life... ________________________________ again, this person (no names) was already claiming to be a Christian since birth... so the kid gloves are OFF... its a different ball game altogether... for it is written: _________________________________ 2 Peter 2:21(KJV) 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. _____________________________ i digress... i came to him to HELP... and he turned his live-in on me... he could have defused that last night... but said, no, keep this on your Timeline, itll show what an idiot you are (or some derogatory word... but anyway, can a Christian help others with their sin??? John 7:24 (KJV) 24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. __________________________________ so as long as it is with a righteous judgement then yes... the best way to do so, and stay in line with righteousness, is to simply share the Word and allow that to be the test... and AGAIN... because its worth repeating for a THIRD TIME... this person claimed to be a Christian SINCE BIRTH... said he knew the Word of God well because his grandfather was a pastor... so then im pretty sure, i can then use the Word to point out the truth in order to help save them... if you knew the alternative, would you not work at saving someone you love??? do you know what the alternative is??? so was i to just sit back and what??? wait??? wait for MY redemption??/ would the Lord not ask me at the Bema Seat??? Trae, i helped you through (this person i wont name) but once you were saved, why didnt you even try and help him? what is my answer??? Gee Lord, i would risk losing a friend LORD: so Trae, you worried your pretty little head about losing an earthly friend, and now he burns forever? would i then be shown a glimpse of my friend burning??? crying out??? folks, i dont live on this earth to be politically CORRECT... im not even here to make friends or BE friends... this person told me MANY TIMES when speaking of how he shared and shared and shared the conspiracy theories on his FB non stop, that at LEAST he was planting a seed... well, the Word if God is now planted in him as a seed... he can water it, or kill it... His spirit now connects to the Holy Spirit or it wont... this isnt on me... this is on him... only the LORD can reveal Himself to others... i am only flesh.... this is a Spirit issue... 100%... in closing... this was not a regular non believer... this was a believer, who said they were raised in the Church since birth, and blasted me when i tried to help... per the above Bible verses... all of my faults and actions that were wrong over the past 30 hours will be dealt with... for now i must speak to the Lord about all i did wrong... and how (moving forward) not to repeat them... to be BETTER the next time... Amen
