there seems to be alot of confusion going around that seems to be left to me to clear up, as usual: there are numerous people arguing that marriage (as in "traditional marriage") was created by God (or their version of God). These people are confusing marriage with procreation. You can argue that procreation was created by God (insert defintion here) because it takes a male and female of the species to accomplish it. But that does not lead, de facto, to marriage being created by God. Marriage is a creation of man. Else according to these peoples´ arguments, every cow, every dog, every bird pair that procreates is thus "married".
