there were couple of accidents that happened to me few years ago and strangely they both were similar , once , when i was traveling to algeria and on algerian airline , so i was chilling when the Hostess came asking me if i wanted to have something , the problem was , she asked in a fluent french , i dont speak french , i said why are you talking on french ? last time i checked algerias first lango is arabic ! she looked at me and said : we arent arab , were berber and then left ; the second accident was the same , i had just arrived to algeria so i decided to go the cafeteria , the waiter , talked in french with me ! and since i had enough of it i flipped on him and said why are you talking on french ? were an arab country ! , we started arguing while ppl were watching ( it was an embarrassing situation ) until his waitress friend came and started talking to me in a fluent arabic , the ARABIA FOS7A i was fine with it and went along with it even though her attitude was yelling pure SARCASM , and when i was about to leave , she said we were colonized for 130 years dont expect us to speak in arabic ! that bothered me to no end to be honest cuz in my hometown biskra we speak pure arabic , only few ppl speak french and it made me dislike algiers somehow ( no offence to whoever is from there ) bcz it seems that whenever i go there i there i cant work it out cuz ppl either talk french only or understand french only -_-
