these questions embarrass me. an important skill to have when attempting to be persuasive is the ability to think through your targets position from his point of view. It is clear to me that this author (and anyone who thinks the questions are deep and profound) have not spent much time attempting to see from someone elses perspective. I am not trying to prove one thing or another as far as this specific debate goes, i just want to see people try to understand the other side of things before they speak in an argumentative or persuasive manner, on all sides of any topic. (this is just an easy example of someone sucking at persuasion.)
