things I have learned, we live in a world of expectation, we expect things from people who are unable to meet our expectation. we want to be loved for the mess that we are with an unwillingness to love others for the mess that they are. My desire is to more like Jesus, He knew my lacks and chose to love me expecting nothing back. I chose to follow Him, but if I had not made that decision He would have still died for me. He loves me in the midst of my mess, he meets me in the middle of my mess,He cares for me in the middle of my mess. We point out peoples sins and mistakes and refuse to be associated with them, Jesus constantly met the sinful, and demonstrated love,mercy and forgiveness. We live our Christian lives in a pedestal like we are better than others because we believe our theological ideas and knowledge is better than of a person of a different denomination. What if we just loved? What if the our source of love came directly from God instead of people? what if the love we receive came directly from God overflowing out of our lives touching everyone we come in contact with? What if our focus was on what God is able to give us instead on what people cant give us. We dont need to agree with peoples views and ideas, we dont need to take part of sinful activities, but we do need to love!
