think the most damning criticism of Obama is not that he has ushered in a socialist dictatorship, but that he is such an incredibly incompetent socialist dictator. Lets look at his record of fumbling and missed opportunities, shall we? 1) Military adventurism - no dictatorship is worth its weight in banana futures unless it uses the military in a few ill conceived and tyrannical ventures. But we missed the opportunity to put boots on the ground in Libya, we continue to shy away from Syria, and we have not stopped Mr. Putin on the hallowed shores of the Crimea. And whats this I hear about reducing troops in Afghanistan and shrinking the military? 2) Nationalizing Industry - Talk about bungling! We could have had the entire healthcare insurance industry absorbed into the Department of Health & Human Services; General Motors could have been Government Motors, and dont get me started on the Banks. By this time, Lloyd Blankfein should have been a Federal employee (GS-15, $129,517 per year maximum!) We could have had it all! 3) The Rise of Unions - Yes! Unions are back! Huge marches, banners waving, fists raised, praising Boss Obama....and union membership as a percent of the workforce is now..... down slightly from 5 years ago? Oh no! Shattered dreams again! 4) Unbridled Public Spending, Leading to Rampant Inflation - just look at what Chavez achieved in Venezuela, and in an oil rich country no less. Surely our socialist dictator could follow suit. What? Deficits are coming down? Inflation was at an annual rate of 1.1% in February? Is there nothing that Obama is good at?
