thinking.... its time. ready or not. Culture is a wierd thing. America... we have different cultures. We have different values. I was born and raised in California. I spent my teenage years right across the bridge from San Francisco. I was taught in schools according to their values. indoctrinated? maybe. but you know what? so are all of you people here in Kansas. Am I a liberal or progressive? absolutely not. Im more conservative (IMO) than my Kansas neighbors. But then, I wouldnt consider a republican a conservative... anyways, from the day I arrived here, I had a deep deep inner sense that I did not belong here. And that has never gone away. Culture, and the intolerance of such, landed me in a lot of hot water through the years. People in Kansas dont like long haired hippie kids from California, and to be honest, I dont really like ignorant, red necked backwoods belt buckled beer bellied babylonians either... Culture. Some truth is relative, some is absolute. We can be divided by our differences, or we can become strengthened by our diversity. its time. Ready or not.
