A missile from his plane struck a U.S. aircraft carrier, the explosion and fire killed 134 American sailors. A few months later, this same American pilot disappeared with a state of the art fighter jet behind enemy lines. He stayed with his captors for five and a half years, even refusing to return to the U.S. when his captors offered to send him back. During this time, he made an anti-American propaganda confession. In 2008, this POW was the GOP Presidential nominee. He still represents Arizona in the U.S. Senate. Sometimes, its all in the way you tell the story. Let the Army complete its investigation into Bergdahl before passing judgement.
