this afternoon I watch a movie call born on the fourth of July it was directed by Oliver stone it was release on December 22 1989 the casting is perfect tom cruise giving a amazing perfect and his best performance as Ron kovic Raymond j Barry giving a outstands performance as Eli kovick Caroline kava giving a amazing and very great performance as Mrs. kovic Kyra Sedgwick giving a amazing and great performance as donna the reason why I really love about this movie is because it had perfect story Ron kovic dream of being in the marine soldier ever since he was a little boy he went to a the fourth of July parade he saw a soldier so he make a decision of join marine soldier when he is a senior in high school after leave his family his make his dream come true by join the marine and he go to war I was terrified when Ron kovic was shoot in the leg and he become paralysis with his leg but did not get up he try and try to walk witch I can relate to because when I had all of my leg and foot surgery I did not giving of trying to walk even know it hurt and people tell you might never walk again but you can prove them wrong and the part where Ron come home after the war he went home with his family and all of the neighbor came to talk to Ron witch was a great part and he is in the fourth of July parade as a marine soldier he make a big speech but he is having flashback of the war during his big speech another reason why I really love this movie is because of the characters of Ron kovic he was a very interesting men because he love and care about his country and he is a great student he works very hard he is on wrestling team in high school he also has a job at the grocery store and his had a very religions family like the mom dont like anything bad to come in house she rule of dont talk about religion in a bad way she is a great role model for her son and I love the scene where Ron is praying to the cross with Jesus in his bedroom because he is say Jesus please make my wish come true I do that some time and I really love the performance of tom cruise he was a perfect choice to play Ron kovic because he was very convicting and this is my favorite role that tom cruise has play and he does make big mistakes but he fix those big mistakes and the direction of Oliver stone is very flawless and very perfectly the music by john Williams is amazing and epic because it had a American feel to it which fit so perfectly with the movie born on the fourth of July did very well at the box office it made over $161,001,698 million dollar and the critics love this movie and call it one of the best films of 1989 also it was eight academy award nominations and won 2 like best film editing and Oliver stone won his second best directors overall born on the fourth of July is my favorite movie of 1989 it a powerful war movie it my new favorite tom cruise and it my favorite films that Oliver stone has directed I am very very proud of giving born on the fourth of July a perfect 10 out of 10 !!!!!!!!!!
