this is a great little illustrative case study of the situation going on with Kinder Morgan/Burnaby/Greater Vancouver and the battle between pipeline advocates and British Columbia environmental activists in general. i recommend that any of my friends with an interest in environmentalism, public policy, indigenous rights, and/or Canada read up on Burnaby. i believe that one cannot legitimately claim to be a well-informed activist in the Pacific Northwest without familiarity with this case (yes, i am the sole authority who judges whether or not you are an activist, so get in-line with what i say and dont ask questions). really, though, this is a fun article; pour yourself some liquor or soothing tea first. check it: Simon Nicholas Britney Seth Abby
