this is a sad realization to myself. I have figured out that helping people seriously gets you nowhere around here. Even if it is your friends,boyfrien, family etc. People are too self absorbed to even care about other human beings. I dont know how many times i have offered my help to people and actually help people and i get nothin in return. it makes me wanna turn into a selfish buthole too, but at the same time I dont wanna convert to everyone elses ways cause then id just be considered a rude and unpleasant person. Im just sick of negativity... and people wonder why charleston is considered one of the most miserable places, thats probably because more than half of the people here are miserable and negative with their own lives so they take it out on everyone else around them. I dont understand it! In most other states, cities and countries people dont act like this, their nice and laid back and think positive, and people wonder why i wanna go into the peace corp-at least people would be appreciative of me and my help that i can offer
