this is a short (esh) story of one of my experiences on the Caroline. we all have them and some havent been fortunate enough to tell their stories. Someone once said to me that your best Lifeboat is the one you go to see in, so look after it. never a truer word was spoken. this old girl always brought us home. She was built in Bluff and is now back home. Any boat built for Bluff conditions has to be a good boat. Be really good if some other seadogs out there could put penn to paper about some of their experiences, as Im sure you all have at least one good yarn. A compilation of of seatime stories around NZ would make very good and educational reading, as we all learn from everyone elses encounters. Sorry its not exactly a boat pic, but it is still a story of the boat :-)
