this is a very painful but necessary read. the fact that i am wearing sandy hook green polish sent to me by my friend Geri Adams who has a first grader at sandy hook and was there that day does connect me a little more than the average american, but COME ON, we are all connected. it is not ok to ignore this. if you are a gun enthusiast who would be the type to heckle a parent or find conspiracy and further disrespect and alienate these families, i say you are wrong and heartless and i dont want you as my fb friend, even if we are actually friends. i mean it. when i read the part about the surviving daughter natalie suggesting that guns be gathered and buried in the ocean, that was extra sad. i have been picturing guns buried and forgotten, which you may know if you read my posts. i said it yesterday. i say it again: bury your gun before something awful happens with it. this is reality. if there is anything i can DO besides keep "sharing" articles, etc, i will do it. the first thing i can do is ask that you unfriend me if you dont agree that our gun laws need complete overhaul and restrictions. i dont want to hear "well the bad guys will still have guns and im responsible" i dont even want to hear it. that is just denial, when is the last time you got shot by a "bad guy"? i believe in love, and i am not ignorant of the harsh truths. open your eyes to everything, we are doing wrong here. change.
