this is amazing that I have found this group for I am looking for support anywhere and finding it nowhere. I have never used heroin. but I have a friend in ICU for over three weeks now that I visit everyday. she was basically dead upon arrival and thank god for god she is still alive. all due to a dirty needle etc. she suffered from severe septic shock and all organs shut down. she is paralyzed from the neck down and the infection had even reached her brain. to what extent the doctors still do not know. I didnt even recognize the person lying there three weeks ago the poor little emaciated, paralyzed body on full life support? was that really her? well it was. each day she is getting better I hope for her to eventually be able to move. the crazy part is we are closer now than we have ever been. her mind is still there and after 3 weeks she is back to who she really is. the pain she feels now is real. we need prayers, and she needs support and so do I. because you see all those people that she was using with ha ha ha including her own husband of thirty years no one comes to support her those are not friends they are the devil. It may be up to a year they say to cure her little body, it will be a lot longer to cure her mind. but no one deserves what this poor baby is going through at 55 she has more stuff to do. obviously god felt so or he would have taken her.no one deserves this not an addict or the worst enemy no one. please say prayers for Diane every night and put a white light of protection and healing around her. thank you. If anyone cant help? please.
