this is an email from a good friend. its not all we did but the fun times are there..... Yep - I remember the good-ole-days!!! Memories are great and always bring a smile to my face. It is really funny that you send this to me now. You see, this past weekend, my younger daughter, Jessica, and I attended a car-show and there was a beautiful 56, two-door, hard-top in it and I mentioned that I used to have a 56. This car was so nice that a professional photographer was taking pictures. While he was at the trunk area I took the opportunity to point out to Jessica that the gas tank was accessed through the left-rear-tail-light assembly. He was so intrigued that he looked for the standard cover and when he couldnt find one he actually tried the tail light - to his surprise it turned and opened. Three cars down was a 63 white Impala SS - I also had one of those that I remember my Dad driving from Charleston to Biloxi so Id have a car during my military A school........ As we walked around, we found a 66 Chevy II and I mentioned that I had one of those too. I told the owner the story of me putting a Sun tac on the steering column and I made a label that said God bless my Chevy twice - we all laughed!!! Also saw a GTX with a real hemi - the owner engaged me in a conversation about the two-fours and when I explained volumetric efficiencies he said that he thought he was the only one that really understood the concept......
