this is home. My well spent days of my childhood. East Glacier, Two Medicine, Loop A, fishing with my Grandpa Floerchinger....Camping with the Grandparents Egan. I think you could blindfold me and I could still tell you if I was in Glacier, or in the Swan, just by the smell of the trees. The land is in your soul, the feel of bear grass on your fingers and you walk through a patch, the taste of wild strawberries and huckleberries, the smell of the Ponderosa Pine, the ice cold of St. Marys lake. Fresh trout cooked on an open fire, meeting people from all over the world, the visitors center at Apgar. These things make me smile, and miss home.
