this is so perfect... it is more than apparent that raising your kids "tough" has a poor success rate. parents need to realise that now more than ever, how important it is to raise strong, smart and independent (among other qualities) children who are taught to spread love, gratitude and appreciation for simplicity and nature. We need to teach them that money is the root of evil and that their lives should not be wasted on reaching a degree of financial freedom... parents roles are much more........ i am afraid that this message has been lost in translation a little.....
