this is the map of Central City given to me by Clark Doc Seibel...the author of My Hometown. doc was an interesting character and did extensive research on his book, but just could not handle it when some argued with his authenticity and some sources[Doc was also a big Friend of George Ross[another frequenter of Pinkys in the 80s] i put the map of Gainsville in the upper right , hand corner because that is where the original city[Gainsville] is located,... noted on the map. When doc found out peope were contradicting some of his book....he gathered every copy of it he could find and BURNED them! so one night he brought this map to Pinkys,at my request,[my wife worked there and I always tried to keep the beer supply properly balanced] and gave it to me because he had NO USE for it since some people disagreed with what he had documented. THAT is why nowadays just try to find one of those books. he did a pretty good job of getting rid of them. funny guy, Doc was. ive copied gainsville section and as u can see autographed [actually signed by him in 1984] this is the original .....he gave it to me as I said, because he had no use for it...the original original town is outlined in RED ink...if u can see. I found it VERY interesting and have no desire to give it up!
