this is what we here in Greece see every single day. we wish we can help them all, but we can not and it breaks my heart. She is one of the lucky few. She was rescued. I hope its not too late. She has sarcoptic mange and we are waiting for blood test results. she has a very sad story. she is about 8 years old. she is a short rottweiler. very very friendly with humans and dogs and chickens she lived as a so called guard dog on a chain for 7 years. when the shop closed down the owner threw her away in the middle of nowhere. a farmer found her and used her to guard his chickens and sheep etc. and this is how she ended up
