this man left his dog in the car for over 20 mins at bridgeport, wv walmart. PEOPLE leave your pets at home.. or leave your car on with the A.C. running. state cops were given his info. Police have been called and were given the info. Hope he at least gets a fine. if you dont think this is a big deal, well it is. it is illegal in WV (and 13 other states) to leave your pet in the car that could cause them distress. 80 degrees outside can reach to over 100 degrees in a parked car in a matter of 10 minutes - that will cause distress including heatstroke, seizures, and death. Try to go sit in a parked (engine not running) car for 20 mins in this heat and lets see how you are feeling.
