this might be off topic, but it cant hurt to ask (I hope) was wondering if anyone knows the formal refund policy/liability for groupon? we bought a 200 shekel coupon to a restaurant that lost its hekscher. Groupon claimed they didnt advertise themselves on the groupon as kosher and therefore theyre not liable. The restaurant now has their hekscher back and we would love to use the money we spent (200 shekel), not the value of the coupon (400 shekel). Anyone know if the restaurant or groupon has any legal obligation here? Anyone had any luck in a similar situation? thanks!
