this my friends is the real tommy roe, when i was in a band called the senatones many years ago our bass guitar player Gareth kinsey fancied my cousin Christine stead as she was then, well back to the story he asked my cousin to go out with him and i wasnt at all happy about this situation because she was more like a sister and i was very possessive of her but Gareth had his way (not that way) she was a lady anyway back to the story (which is completely true) Gareth our bass player took my cousin Christine (that was her name and still is) well he took her to sorfia gardens to see bloody tommy roe well that was thier first and last date anyway some years later the senatones became a permanent fixture in the garw valley, every Saturday at the wexa club with the entertainment sec beano rest is soul, back to the story, one Saturday night Christine my cousin asked me if she could come to the club with us (she was partial to a jive) so she came with us, but while we were performing on stage from behind my drums i could see she was dancing with this thin good looking guy, anyway this became a regular thing my cousin, Christine coming to the wexa every Saturday with us i being nieve thought she was there for us but it seems that was not the reason, remember the thin good looking guy who at the time was so called engaged to the club Stewarts daughter but unknowing to myself and his girlfriend my cousin and the thin good looking guy (i said that before) were assumedley madly in love with each other which was a little bit awkward for us, meaning the senatones, and i also forgot to mention the fact, that Christine my cousin was engaged to be married to a fella whos name was. Wait for it, Terry roach but he lived in St Davids west Wales in them days it could have been Scotland, no kids, no motorways so back to my cousin and the thin good looking guy who were by know desperately head over heels in love, i did however forget to tell you the name of the thin good looking guys name, well wait for it, hang on its coming yes bloody hells bells i was Jeff salmon can you believe it she meaning my cousin Christine went from a roach to a red blooded salmon and thats because our bass guitarist took her to see bloody tommy roe, and that my dear family and friends is a true story, the end :::::this true story was written and compiled by dave stead copyright Christine salmon enterprises 2014 :
