Ltd. He is a former President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), former Vice President and currently Adviser of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is a sponsor Director and former Chairman of Southeast Bank Ltd. Other positions he held include: ex-Director of IDCOL (Infrastructure Development Company Ltd.) and IIFC (Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company); ex-member of Revenue Reforms Commission of Bangladesh and Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Development Committee of Bangladesh.
