this page is full of ungrateful people I have to be honest. last night I posted an image of a bedside table which I was given a few weeks back on this page as I (like many others) was starting off with practically nothing and so was grateful for whatever I could find. I now have no more use for it and so wanted to give it on to someone else who may be in need. its funny how when I posted the image nobody was interested (its not in the greatest condition I admit, but fine for someone who is desperate as a lot of people make out to be on here). however, when I made a post stating free bedside table without an image, I had a number of inboxes and a couple of comments (some of which have been deleted since I added the photo to the post), these people had first swarmed right in seconds after I made the post to see what they could have and then as soon as they see it isnt up to their standard (either to sell on or just because theyre fussy), they turn down what im offering so obviously cant be that desperate or in need of things, so if theyre not in need, why do they even bother commenting on the items which people offer them. I constantly see people swarming in on every post that gets posted to the freebie pages and then turning the items down which obviously doesnt make the person who is giving the item away feel very good as their intentions are only to help those who are in need. it also isnt the first time I have offered items free and theyve been turned down. for example, I had two tvs in perfect working condition and as soon as people found out they werent flat screen with built in freeview and HD they turn their noses up. im sorry, but if you all want top of the range items thatll make your homes look fancy then buy them brand new and stop scavenging off freebie pages! sorry for the rant but im utterly fed up of some people on these pages!!
