"this question is for those mammas out there who have lost a baby, and gone on to have another? I lost my second baby @ 22 weeks, my first was carried to full time, perfect home birth, healthy baby! when my son was 6 months we got pregnant again and i went into early labor, went in and my cervix was shortening and i was dialated 2 cm already, they put in a cerclage. Worked for about a day, then my water broke. My question is to those mammas who have had a cerclage, did you need it for later pregnancies? it was recommended that if i were to get pregnant again to have a cerclage put in @ 12 weeks... any advice or suggestions? getting baby fever again.. thanks mammas"-Anonymous #cerclage
