this was a great year as i received my grandmothers package from barnardo homes ,i am so blessed to have this peice of my history and roots. i have also learned with much help from this group about my grammas siblings that remained in england when her and her sister gertrude were shipped over to canada in 1912 as young girls ,leaving behind there brother percy .i was told by barnardo that he was adopted by the foster family that they lived with, but i recently found out that he ran away in 1918 and there is no records of him after that. i really would like to know if he ever married or had childern as they are my family ... guess i have to keep on searching ...
