this was my post last monday while we were still in minneapolis, its friday now and we are still listening to the Mats in our house, and Im still feeling the withdrawal from such an amazing show, easily the best musical experience of my life. here it goes: The love of music can unite people, i didnt know how much until now. I have been blessed to have traveled to all 4 corners of the USA, Europe, central and South America, but I met the best, friendliest, inviting and most welcoming people ever, right here in Minnesota.We leave today, but a chunk of my heart will remain in Minneapolis, you guys treated us like family, friday night we met Kerry Butler and Percy Hatcherson, and got along royally. Saturday we met the rest of the people in our FB chat, they took us as their own, we felt like we all knew each other for years and also got along great. The Replacements show was amazing, but the company and the positive vibes made it nothing short of magical!! John Bailey and Bobbi Peacock, (incredible tailgate, by the way) because of your advise, Ge Rock and I were able to experience the Twin Cities like no travel book could have. Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart and every molecule of my being. And to all of you, if you are ever in Los Angeles, do no hesitate to contact us, the little we have is yours. We are leaving the Twin Cities with a smile on our face, knowing that, hopefully, we have met life long friends and kindred souls. Please keep in touch, because we will.
