this was the original verse to a song i wanna do, obviously, written in 2012, (Verse) Ive seen gangs fight in the street, grown men cry in defeat the homeless die in their sleep, i close my eyes and just weep wishin for somethin to change, rich people just walk by in the heat while some are stuck in floods walkin thru the rain if we walked a mile in their life just to feel thair pain some of us would fall to the shame but some of you laugh at their acts if only you could grasp at the fact that they could be your sisters or brothers left in the cold with blisters and smothered in dirty clothes at night just wishin for covers yet some of you cry when your missin your lovers just for a minute wishin you could be kissin each other when some children are home alone wishin for mothers who died in the war left with just a father to love em some of em really struggle for bigger issues while some of you throw fits at raises your job wont give you im workin bodyguard night shift for ten bucks a night hopin to god i go home safe without havin to fight my mom tellin me how she worries i could lose my life but i need the money so i work for it cuz i know some people out there hurt for it some people would litterally dig dirt for it so why should i be any different? i aint gonna complain i just wish i knew a way for the rest of the world to change
