time to express my thoughts on the new Star Wars trailer. Brilliant. First off, the cinematography feels like..a cult film. The way the cameras feel doesnt feel like your average hollywood film, it FEELS like a new hope. Yes, there was lots of CGI, but its hard to avoid that when youre making a major motion science fiction movie. But, the CGI felt so natural, so real, that it doesnt matter. It was beautiful. Also, I dig the new astromech droid, it was adorable, and it makes sense. Astromech droids for you non star wars fans, are essentially droids that do diagnostic repair on starships and fighters. They communicate with your ship, can run the navi computer, even pilot it. The Gyro ball aspect means that the body can spin around while sitting inside the ship, using different interfaces for repairs. The designs for the pilot, along with the colors really remind me of knights of the old republic, and i love it, with that in mind, the villain seems straight out of that era. The height of the sith empire. Honestly, I loved the design of this new lightsaber. It reminds me of a claymore, which remember back in the day, lightsaber battles werent super flashy, jumping around, etc, so we might see that. Im predicting more of a focus on actually space battles, and fire fights (which is why its called...star...wait for it...wars). The Millenium Falcon looked beautiful. I dunno if the character in the beginning was a good guy or not in stormtrooper disguise, or if he was an actual trooper. I really hope he was a trooper, because i think the one thing star wars lacked, was a dehumanized enemy. Id love to see the stormtroopers as characters too, to see their story as well. At this point, they arent clones anymore, theyre human recruits. Anyways, thats my review of the trailer. https://youtube/watch?v=erLk59H86ww
