I learned to not care if I had a panic attack- it only lasts like 5 min and after that your fine. I was letting 5 minutes control my entire life! Of course its terrifying to experience a panic attack but if you let it just happen and appreciate that your body is alive and trying to protect you, it will go away. I haven’t experienced a panic attack in over a year now. And if I were to get one later on I wouldn’t mind it, at least your experiencing and feeling something. It’s better than being dead or completely numb, don’t ya think? there’s only one person that can cure you from anxiety and that person is you, no magic pill will do it. If I did it, anyone can do it. Here is a list of what I did 1. Changed my diet- no more fast food! i.e taco bell, mc donalds, burger king- these foods are filled with preservatives! Yuck! –except for chipotle—I love chipotle 2. Started taking a good multivitamin 3. Started taking b-complex- this has all the b vitamins- It made me feel very calm 4. Read the power of now, from panic to power, anxiety workbook 5. Drank chamomile tea-t his really relaxes you after a stressful day 6. Exercise! Especially cardio like running or biking- at first I was scared of cardio workouts because it would increase my heart rate and somewhat simulate a panic attack but then after 2 weeks of cardio this went away and I felt amazing. I realized the heart racing feeling wasn’t that bad, in fact my heart rate even got lower because I started doing cardio regularly and now I have more energy and feel good after working out. 7. See a naturopath- I started seeing a naturopathic doctor after I got fed up with my regular doctor always prescribing me these meds and saying my anxiety wont go away without them . He didn’t do anything for me except make me feel terrible about having anxiety. My naturopath changed my diet and improved my health so overall I felt a thousand times better. 8. Last but not least face your fears! This one is the hardest one of all but once you conquer this one you will be anxiety freeee. If any of you guys have any questions please let me know!
