tl;dr Yall assholes are family, and I love you. So realpost, I never really thought Id be emotionally attached to a Facebook group, or any group over the internet, in my life, but I feel as if this is a place for everyone. Short of someone being a complete asshole, or spamming the page with nonsense, everyone is generally accepted here, and Ive almost never seen gender, race, or background brought up in anything other than a lighthearted joke, and even then those are pretty clear as a joke, or clarified if butthurt ensues. Growing up, there wasnt as large of a Smash community where I was, and then when it finally did get big, I moved out to the Central-south part of the US, which isnt really known for activity. I know Milktea posted recently about us being cancerous and awful for the community, but as mah boi Fernando was saying, its more of the individual, and I hardly ever see it here. When I was lurking in this group the first couple of months it was around, I was almost positive itd have died, but it grew to almost the exemplary image of what the Smash community exhibits over every other video game, and to an extent, hobby, as well. I wanna see all of you grow and prosper, whether youre a billion years old like John, or not legally allowed in the work force like Connor, and I wanna see you all get gud at Melee, too.
