to my greeny [and arty and ALSy] friends, esp Geoff Dann, Iona Fraser & Cal Humphries: Ernest Cook Trust Registered charities, state schools and not-for-profit organisations which support educational activities promoting the countryside, arts or raising levels of literacy and numeracy can apply to the Ernest Cook Trust for one of two streams of funding: Small grants programme for awards of under £4,000 Large grants programme for awards of more than £4,000 All projects should focus on the needs of children and young people and have a clear educational purpose. The Trust accepts applications throughout the year. Meetings to consider applications for the small grants programme take place bi-monthly.
