to the owner of the olympic hotel it has come to my notice that you are also the owner of the palliser in wainuiomata gossip says that your favourite hotel is your favourite and gossip s think you run the palliser at a loss for tax purposes nowthis does not concern me nor do i want to pry into your affairs what you do or dont do is no concern of mine but what dopes concern me is the delapitated state of the pallisere now i have never been into your hotel in the olympic but i do frequent the palliser hotel in wainuiomata when i lived in woa i would love going to the pali towatch the big sports games have a few drinks and laughs with my friends plus sing a song or two i was surprised when on an occasion i had the opportunity to enter the pali the staff are wonderful so are your cleaners as they do there best but the pub is disgusting i do not know how you pass health and safety and have to tell you that i had a terrible accident in your pub after singing a song of slipping over and breaking my nose on your concrete floor at the time the toilets need renewing quite a lot of them no seat was on one of the ladies toilets doors broken paint peeling holes generally in disrepair this pub has been home to a lot of people over the years and they have given the pub good service during that time i have seen it so full in the past ther is hardly any standing room evengoing and countingearly in the nightthere may be4to6 people only sometimes when there is a band it can fill up now..... young haydon from the tavern has been doing all he can to make ther tavern a place people enjoy going too and does the people of woaproud if your pub keeps on going with little or nothing done too it you may lose all your customerscause who wants to goto a pub where the owner does not care and it shows i feel like getting inthere myself and starting one room at a time i hear you dont come to the pub very often the liscencing trust were proud of their pub where is your pride pleasegive us back our pub that we can be proud of like the tavern i know you built a smoke room but where is the little area outback where people could sit and eat in the yard in the summer could you please look into this at your earliest convenience as we dont weant to lose another part of woa history
