to the repubs and so-called conservatives who complain that the govt wants to take all that we earn--please take a few minutes to absorb this. this isnt stealing from the rich. this is the rich treating everyone else like their slaves. the rich dont earn all of this--they steal it from those who actually produce. The Congressional Budget Office has found that between 1979 and 2007, the onset of the Great Recession, the gap in income—after federal taxes and transfer payments—more than tripled between the top 1 percent of the population and everyone else.
