to those who were born into my generation and just before: only you can understand how blessed we are to have grown up in an era of one of the greatest music ever . how deep shall i go? compositionally, the greatest . technically, recording wise, the greatest imaginations of minds ever. the sounds they created with the little technology they had . musicians can today out drum, out strum those of yesterday, but none of them could create sounds and put them on vinyl like they did then, using only the technology then...this music sounds just as great now as it did 40 years ago. just as fresh...timeless. tears come to my eyes listening to it. because it is become a lost culture. my kids will never embrace such talent, much less understand what they are listening to.
