today I parted with a book that has been at my bedside for the past four years ... Ive tried in the last 4 months or so to part with the book , but something told me , that the day I am ready , will be the day that I will be ready to say goodbye to the closest thing to a soul-mate that I have ever experienced. This is not a breakup or a fall out of love situation...its what true love and friendship is really about ... sacrifice. -Madiba ...you have not only steered my life with your words in Conversations with Myself but you have shaped my thoughts and views on love and war over the past four years. Nelson Mandelas words gave me the strength to do what I did today. Goodbye my friend .. when the time is right , I will see you and my beloved book once again.
