today at the end of the day at work (just to give you an anecdote) I drew five asters on a branch connecting all five, with miscellaneous leaves on it. I wrote a poem about resilience and vulnerability. Then below that I wrote the blossoms are the beings under this roof (5), the branches are the staff supporting the beings, and the leaves are the past, present and future. This drawing coincided with the roll I was on talking with a client earlier. FYI asters are symbolic of an enchanted kind of love, being a peer wellness I feel that my love for clients and love for one and all is enchanted... According to the legend of asters, which is how I think of clients i work with in this respect the Goddess Asterea began to cry as she looked down upon the earth and saw no stars. The asters bloomed where her tears fell. That is how I see wellness and though there may be pain there is also a miraculous star where there was no star their before.
