today i could not get out of bed. i kept my daughter home safe and spent until now (2:30) in silence with people we care about on our heart. it was hours of prayer as i know it. slowly i opened the blinds and let the sun shine in to the thoughtful space we call home. as i listen to the breeze tap on my wind chime a perfectly beautiful pitch, grabs me and whispers hello as my girl hits a ball off the wall.this after laying upon her bed and watching a particularly accurate account of life for many. feeling grateful and humbled.
