today lea and i attended baby lukes wake. i found it really hard to fight back the tears. so many people. that boy was so loved. as sad as it was to see him like that, he looked so peaceful. we took seats in the back. thats when it happened. i was attacked by a land shark. first, i felt my purse slipping. figuring i dumped it, i grabbed it fast only to realize it was stuck so i yanked it up. ok. all set. nope!!!! next thing i know, something is pulling on my pants. i jumped out of my seat to find a small blond boy (my little land shark) hiding under the row of chairs. so after a failed attempt to coerce him out, i sat back down. then all the chairs started moving. luke and i were attempting to hold down the chairs almost laying across them when all of a sudden the chairs on the end toppled over. turns out the little land shark was none other than baby lukes older brother. shout out to him for making a sad experience into one of endless giggles for me.
