today was a perfect example of how not to take life for granted and a sure affirmation of Gods grace and mercy....my 26 year old son came home from work tonight to show us his elbow which was red, swollen and hot to the touch. He said hed had the sweats all day and no appetite. Both my girls and spouses were here and we all urged him to go have it checked out because the symptoms spelled infection which was nothing to fool around with. He finally relented and Steve Rohrbach offered to take him to the Patient First center. Once there, they decided he needed to go to the ER and called ahead. Kenny went over to the ER and I waited somewhat nervously and impatiently praying at home until they came back. Josh has either a staph or strep infection in his elbow and has antibiotics to take. He has a idea of how this happened but nothing definitive. Has to keep a close eye on the area the outlined with marker. Not how any of us expected this day to turn out but thankful it wasnt any worse! I can now sleep peacefully this evening
