todays bone broth idea: put some chicken broth in my seven grain porridge, half broth half water, let it boil. I soak the whole grain spelt, amaranth, millet, quinoa and wheat in the bone broth overnight for faster cooking or let simmer for about 45 minutes. then add flax, and steel cut oats about five or ten minutes before it done. in the bowl, a little cream, butter, dried cranberries, apples, sunflower seeds, chia seeds and a little brown sugar and molasses. lots of cinnamon. I make a big pot once and warm up a bowl in the mornings.. easy to do with a little planning. much better than instant oatmeal and actually its cheaper! good stuff!
