tonite i had the worst night ever since i have been down here in SC, in the 9 yrs with Lowes I have NEVER had a customer like this ~ i came back from my dinner break and the first customer i had to help turned out to be a real a**hole ~ he walked up to my desk with an attitude, telling me he had to order a replacement window 33 x 66, as i started working up the special order i asked the question is that the rough opening size or exact frame size? it went downhill from there, first thing he said to me was what,are you a trainee? are you kidding me?? it was obvious he knows nothing about construction so i tried to explain it to him, i was called names then,insulted and screamed at, for NO reason at all except he was an idiot who obviously felt threatened that a woman knew more than he did but of course i could not say anything and i was biting my tongue so hard i was nearly in tears ~ i called my ASM and said these exact words to her get to the millwork desk or im gonna get fired tonight she showed up and i explained to her what happened, all the time he was screaming at me ~ she sent me to the break room, not before i walked back and said oh by the way, he said because im from up north that i didnt know what the hell i was doing he flat out lied and told my ASM he never said that, thats when i called him a liar and walked away ~ by the time i got to the break room i was sobbing ~ everyone heard what was going on by that point and came to check on me ~ after a while my ASM then came in and apparently he did the same thing to her she was also near tears ~ she called our store manager at home and he came back to the store to check on both of us ~ by that time the man left but my SM said he would have escorted that man out of our store if he had still been there ~ i have the best co-workers and the best managers ~ they had my back and it was greatly appreciated!!!!
